The professional cycling event in Hadsten will continue, Hammel Cycling Club in the role as future race organizer.

Tikiøb Event can inform that we again in 2017 will organize the national well-known professional cycling race in Hadsten. The date is Thursday, July 27. We are also happy to announce that we have signed a strategic partnership with the Hammel Cycling Club concerning the organization of the cycling race in Hadsten.

The partnership means that Hammel Cycling Club joins formally as the organizer of the event. Jesper Tikiøb remains Race Director. A strong partnership is created and all professional cycling knowledge in Favrskov are now gathered around this proud after Tour de France tradition.

Race organizer Jesper Tikiøb says:

A difficult but right decision to invite Hammel Cycling Club for this partneship. For me, the time is right and the race will benefit greatly from Hammel Cycling Club and its large network.

Chairman of Hammel Cycling Club Benny Hagelskjær says:

We had no doubt when we got this opportunity. We are proud to be a partner on this annual major cycling event in our region. The agreement is also quite natural for us in light of the club’s collaboration with Jesper Tikiøb has developed significantly over the last year.

The ambitions are bold – cycling race again in 2017

Now the new partnership is going to work and ensure an exciting race in 2017 – just four days after the Tour de France. The route and the scenery will remain the same and we will see the Danish cycling elite again in a great battle at the famous Søndergade climb in the town center of Hadsten.
